Hey.......could we do that again? I know we haven't met, but, I don't wanna be an ant, ya know? I mean, it's like we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another continuously on "ant" autopilot with nothing really human required of us. "Stop," "Go," "Walk here," "Drive there." All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner. "Here's your change," "Paper or plastic?", "Credit or debit?", "Do you want ketchup with that?" I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you. I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be an ant. Ya know?
Hi, my name is Sophia! I typically never write these things, but because I'm too lazy to update my interests from when I was a sophomore in high school, I've decided to write a little bit just to give people a sense of who I am. I have had livejournal for almost 7 years now and it has followed me from the beginnings of High School to the beginnings of college. Although I write less frequently and I don't horde as many friends anymore, I still enjoy posting and reading other peoples posts. I ride horses and they dominate my life in so many ways. In high school I spent my weekends working at my barn from early in the morning til late in the day. I chose the college I attend for many reasons, but riding was a very dominant deciding factor. I am currently riding my sisters event horse - A thoroughbred mare named Tecca - and half leasing a wonderful dressage horse - a thoroughbred leopard appy gelding named Danny - along with taking lessons on school horses. Besides horses I've had an enduring relationship with my boyfriend Brian who I met in high school. Although we've had our ups and downs, we've been pretty consistently happy. I'm a psych major, with the hopes of working with animals later in life. I love my dog Zeus probably more than I should. My home in NJ has always and will always be a mess of animals. We currently have 3 cats, a turtle, 2 frogs, and Zeus. To sum it up, I'm guilty of being animal crazy. I listen to pretty much all genres of music but in particular I like indie/folk/rock music. I'm a sophomore in college and hate doing homework.
